Before the times of modern amusements, families would go to the town centers to enjoy the colorful and magical merry-go-rounds. Carousel figures, during the past two decades have become a treasured piece of art in America, sought after by hundreds of art collectors and honored in museums nationwide. S&S Woodcarvers was founded in 1979 with the mission of creating high quality hand carved American made carousel figures to the world. Some of the carved carousel figures are replicas of the very famous and rare original antique carvings of the turn of the century renown master carvers like Looff, Dentzel or Carmel. S&S Woodcarvers also has it's own exclusive line of original designs and collections. All the carousels figures can be custom painted and decorated with imported glass eyes and crystal cut glass gemstones as per customer choice. The spiral brass tubing and ball finials are made of solid brass and are polished and bake enameled to be tarnish free. S&S Woodcarvers has been successfully custom building portable as well as stationary merry-go-rounds for the past several years. These carousel machines, being equipped with different types of jumping animals and elaborate decorations, as well as music and lighting systems for both indoor and outdoor operations, are highly attractive and are considered to be a very profitable investment.</h3>
