Letter From The National Wheelchair Poolplayers AssociationMarch 25, 2004 Joe Fiscella Triangle Billiards & Barstools 750 E. Katella Avenue Orange, CA 92867 Dear Mr. Fiscella: On behalf of the National Wheelchair Poolplayers Association, Inc. (N.W.P.A.), its members and especially those players competing in the recently held R.A.C.K. II (Rollong Athletes Cue Klassic) Seven ball Championship, I would like to thank you for your generous contribution to the success of the R.A.C.K. II tournament. The event, held at Diamonds Billiard Club in Brea, California on march 20-21, 2004, drew eigtheen players from across the country. Two of those players received sponsored entry into the tournament, as a result of your contribution. Many times we receive requests for monetary sponsorship into certain tournaments, as a result of financial hardship. Contributions such as yours insure that these players, who might not otherwise be able to participate, enjoy the intense competition and friendly camaraderie that these events provide. The two players who gained entry into the R.A.C.K. II tournament, benefitting from your sponsorship, were Ernie Pena, who resides in Anaheim, California and Charlie Brown, who resides in Costa Mesa, California. For Ernie, this was his first entry into a N.W.P.A. sanctioned event. Ernie was very enthusiastic upon learning that his entry was sponsored and he played well, finishing 9-12th. Charlie Brown, a seasonded competitor, livs on a limited income. Charlie loves to play pool and expressed his extreme gratitude for your contribution, which afforded him the opportunity to compete again. Although Charlie has been experiencing some shoulder problems, he managed to finish 13-16th. Of all of the sponsors providing assistance in the overall expenses of the tournament, yours, Joe was the most personal. It directly affected the choice between playing and sitting on the sidelines. Both Ernie and Charlie wanted me to pass along their heartfelt gratitude at being afforded the opportunity to compete. I thank you very much for your contribution to this wothwhile cause. Respectfully, Ken "Deadstroke" Force President / Tournament Coordinator To learn more about the National Wheelchair Poolplayers Association, visit their website at www.nwpainc.com
